More and more people are jumping aboard the zombie fad. Years ago if you used zombies as a gimmick to sell something, it would be hit or miss. Now in day’s it’s a sure fired way to get attention. But the coolest thing to come out of the zombie craze is that people are using their ingenuity to create some really cool zombie stuff.

Let’s take for instance this pretty little number down here.

I would hate to see the price tag of this thing. It would make me cry I think. {1}

This is an AR-15 Tactical Rifle, well not just any AR-15. This AR-15 has been pimped out with Four flashlights for the best visibility at night, Three lasers for the most accurate of shots, And three sites for short, medium, and long distance shooting. They have also decked out this bad boy with a muzzle dampening muzzle break, and perhaps one of the most impressive parts of this gun is it’s super large ammo storage capacity. It has been rigged with the ability to hold nine, thirty round clips. Do the math, that’s 270 zombies dead. We can thank Barry and Fred from Moss Pawn Jewelry and Guns for their ingenuity in gun pimpage right here.

Now as totally cool as this looks, my only question is to how well it would function in the field. It’s large and bulky. It looks heavy, and no matter what those RPG’s you play tell you, ammo does weigh something. If you were to use this weapon, it would have to be in a place where you didn’t have to carry it around. Like a safe house or a base location.

My other problem with this, is there are way too many flash lights. That’s too many resources eaten up by one weapon. Those flash lights eat batteries, and to waste battery life on four flashlights running at the same time, when one high powered led light would do is kind of madness. Let alone the fact that all that light coming from one source would be a good indication for zombies to come find you.

I do like the fact that it has 3 lasers on it. One will do, but three can give you a better indication of where your bullet is going to go. And in a world where you are trying to conserve as much ammo as possible, this addition was a smart move.

That thing looks like an experimental military aircraft. {2}

I say, let’s compromise here. How about you build me an ammo belt that will hold all my ammo preloaded into clips? This way I can hold a much ammo as I want, without wearing out my arms while trying to aim a rifle. Next, give me one LED flashlight that I can use if I want. You’re saving more weight and your battery supplies. Keep the three sites. They do add weight, but if you have the sites celebrated correctly, you can switch from one long distance target to another with  minimal time in between.

Remember guys, not always is bigger better. But sometimes it does look really freaken cool. What weapon would you like to learn about next?
