Finally, the current events have arrived. I have had a super busy week this week so I’m going to keep this one short and sweet. Although there wasn’t a lot of exciting stuff to report you may want to dig into some of these articles to find out some of the most important zombie news.
One to fear on. Samsung has applied for a patent for a device that will communicate your physiological/pathological information with an “external device.” Yea they plan on putting something in your brain to communicate your emotions and physical conditions to a smart phone near you. They are even talking about you being able to control the external device through thoughts communicated by the implant. There’s no way this could turn you into a zombie right? And now from something completely scary to, something completely cute. Sort of. Reportedly, there is a disease that turns cat’s into zombies. It’s not fatal or anything, but it will cause the cat to limp along and have a stiff tale. It’s so rare that most vets won’t know what’s going on and it’s only been reported in the United Kingdom, but still. Evidently when there is no more room in hell, the kitties will roam the earth. Disappointing behavior shames US Military and zombie fans alike. Photos taken of US soldiers posing with deceased Afghan insurgents have recently been circulating in the papers. It is against military policy to pose with a corps for anything other than official purposes. However holding up a patch that says Zombie Hunter next to the corpses of deceased insurgents is a far cry from official purposes. It’s disrespectful, and disgraceful. This behavior does not reflect the high standards held up by the majority of the US Armed Forces, and I hope the parties involved have been corrected for their actions. Schools using zombies to educate students are common occurrences now. So I wasn’t suppressed when I found out that the University Of Road Island will be using a zombie outbreak to teach it’s pharmacy students how to properly administer medication during an emergency. I’m all for these mock medical emergencies. They are a great way to educate and train without the worry of someone making a mistake in a real situation. Plus they are just fun. Brunswick Ohio may be getting a fun zombie attraction coming soon. Unfortunately they will have to find a way to bypass a law that outlaws firearms. How awesome would it be to ride in a hayride, while zombies are attacking, and getting to light the up with paint ball guns? Really freaking awesome right? Well the plans might be in jeopardy due to a restriction of firearms (including air soft and paintball) to everyone except law personnel. Let’s hope an agreement can be reached to allow the awesome zombie slaying to begin! Original Source: www.cleveland.com
